Return Policy

ErgoDirect.com will be happy to accept all returns as long as the following criteria are met:

  • A return authorization number (RA) must be issued in order to return a product. Contact us at 1-888-456-ERGO (3746) for return details including Return Authorization numbers and specific manufacturer address. No credit will be issued for products returned without a valid RA number.
  • Products must be returned within 30 days of receipt.
  • Only products in brand new, saleable condition in original packaging, or "defective on arrival" products (non-repairable) can be returned.
  • Shipping charges are customers responsibility unless product was received "defective on arrival".
  • There will be a 10-50% restocking fee on product returns depending on the manufacturers return policy (please see manufacturers return policies below).
  • No returns on "Special Order/Custom-made" products (including all chairs).

This general policy may not apply to special or custom orders. Please contact us if you have questions on the warranty and returns policy for your order.

We understand that in some circumstances, our customers will need to return items ordered.
A "Return Manufacturer Authorization" number (RMA) must first be obtained by sending us an email to customerservice@ergodirect.com. The RMA number that is issued must be written on the return package, or it will not be accepted.
Once the items are received, inspected and approved, we will credit your credit card account.

Manufacturers Return Policies

Ergotron

If you are not satisfied with your purchase within 30 days of receipt of your order, you may return any products in new condition for a refund minus a 20% re-stocking fee or exchange with a valid RMA (return authorization) number. Shipping and handling charges will be customers responsibility.
Ergotron 24-190-057, 24-191-057, 24-192-057 carts can not be returned once they are built. If you drill your own holes or modify the cart the warranty will not apply.

Humanscale

Please contact Ergodirect.com within 10 days after receiving products for all returns. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Products that have been used will not be accepted. Customer will be responsible for shipping and handling. There will be a 5% fee if you cancel your order within 72 hours of the ship date.

Office Master

Office Master does not accept returns since their chairs are custom made. Orders canceled after 48 hours are subject to 25% restocking fee because the chairs are already in the process of production by that time.

Chief

All merchandise returned to Chief must be returned with prior authorization and a Return Authorization number provided by Customer Service. In situations where the dealer needs to return merchandise due to a change in its project/equipment or due to ordering incorrectly, a 20% restock charge will apply. Returns are not allowed for merchandise over 90 days old. Products returned that are damaged or missing parts will not be eligible for credit. Additional charges for parts and labor may apply.

Peerless

A Return Authorization number must be issued by ErgoDirect.com prior to returning any products. Products must be in brand new, saleable condition, and never installed. A 25% restocking fee will be assessed. All returns must be made within 30 days of receipt.

WorkRite

A Return Authorization number must be issued by ErgoDirect.com prior to returning any products. A 20% restocking fee will be assessed on all returns. Products must be in brand new, saleable condition, and never installed. All returns must be made within 30 days of receipt.

Goldtouch

There is a 50% restocking fee for products returned that have been opened or used. There is a 15% restocking fee for products returned that are unopened and in its original packaging. All returns must be made within 30 days of receipt.

Warranty

All of our products carry manufacturers limited warranty. Depending on specific items, manufacturers offer between 30 days to life time limited warranty. For example some keyboards, mice and chairs might not be returnable but can be fixed or replaced up to certain period of time if there is anything wrong with them.

ErgoDirect.com in no event will be held liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of or in connection with the use of these products.

By your use of this website, you agree that the sole and exclusive maximum liability to ErgoDirect.com arising from any product sold of the ErgoDirect.com website shall be the price of the product ordered plus shipping and handling charges. Quantities May Be Limited

ErgoDirect.com may, at its own discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by the same ErgoDirect.com account, credit card, and also orders, which use the same billing and/or shipping address. Notification will be sent to the e-mail and/or billing address provided should such change occur. We reserve the right to limit the quantities sold, including the right to limit or prohibit sales to dealers.
