Frequently Asked Questions
The shortest cylinder is L1 -3" cylinder and gives you 16-19" of seat height. The standard cylinder is L2 and is 4" and the seat height is between 18-22".

This is my second Neutral Posture 8000. My first one was purchased more than fifteen years ago and is still quite usable- I gave it to my teenage son. I felt it was time for a new one.
Using ErgoDirect's order form I had this one custom built to my specifications (I purchased the first one as-is off a showroom floor). I got the color and fabric I desired, the armrests and wheels I wanted, the seat style I thought best and the pneumatic tube I required for correct height. The ordering was as easy as checking the correct boxes. I placed the order and then waited for delivery. When the unit arrived I put the pieces together (took less than ten minutes) and then "had a seat." Everything worked perfectly, and within another ten minutes I had dialed in the settings using the levers on the chair.
These chairs are comfortable, sturdy, good looking and functional. I use mine at the computer desk in my study, but it would certainly work as an office chair equally well. I have a bad back and so need a good ergonomic chair. The Neutral Posture 8000 fits the bill.
