Get more height adjustment by mounting a monitor or TV on the wall using a wall track system.

What is a vertical track system?

A vertical track system is composed of a few different pieces: a thin strip of metal (the track) that is installed on the wall or other vertical surface, and brackets that attach workstation components to the track, such as a monitor arm or CPU holder.

When installing a vertical track system to the wall, installing onto metal or wooden studs works best.

What are vertical track systems for?

Installing a fully functioning computer into a space without a desk, such as a hospital room or retail store, can be difficult. Vertical wall tracks help you install several workstation components at ideal heights for several different users.

You can install a monitor arm at the top of the track, then a keyboard tray in the middle, and a CPU holder over top, or at the bottom of the track, in order to create a complete workstation without installing a desk. When not needed, keyboard and monitors arms can fold back against the wall to save space.

Additionally, these wall track systems allow more height adjustment, making them ideal for areas used by people of different heights who need to quickly adjust the position of the monitor and keyboard tray when they arrive. Learn more about ideal heights for your monitor and keyboard.

What are the differences between vertical wall tracks?

  1. Length

Vertical wall tracks are usually measured in inches. Smaller wall tracks (ie. 10″) may only be able to hold one workstation component, like a monitor arm, whereas large tracks (ie. 42″) may hold an entire workstation with plenty of room to spare, letting you move these components up and down as needed.

Vertical tracks can come in a variety of lengths including 10″, 26″, 34″, and 42″.

  1. Color

You can usually find vertical wall tracks in white, silver, or black. Choose the color that best matches the space or the workstation.

Still not convinced?

The vertical wall track system is a zero-footprint mounting system which gives more height adjustment to help you stay productive and ergonomic throughout your day. With a cable management cover, you can also keep cables organized to have a clutter-free workstation.
