Cancellation/Change Policy

Order changes or cancellations must be received within 24 hours of order placement.

A 25% fee may apply to orders changed or cancelled after 24 hours. Refunds may not be available to orders changed or cancelled if products have shipped, or undergone any stage of production prior to 24 hours.

Return Policy

ErgoDirect understands that in some circumstances, our customers will need to return items ordered. ErgoDirect reserves the right to determine the eligibility of each return. However, the following conditions must always be met:

  • Product is in brand new, saleable condition in original packaging, or was defective-on-arrival (non-repairable).
  • Customers contact ErgoDirect through email ([email protected]) or phone (1-888-456-3746) to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. No credit will be issued for products returned without a valid RMA number.
  • Products meet manufacturer conditions outlined below.
  • The RMA number issued is written on the return package.
  • Customer pays return shipping fees unless product was defective-on-arrival.

ErgoDirect does not accept returns or exchanges for the following products:

  • Keyboards and mice that have been opened, plugged in, and used.
  • The following special order/custom-made/call for price products (including but not limited to) :
    • Ergotron carts
    • Humanscale chairs
    • Neutral Posture chairs
    • Officemaster chairs
    • SIS desks
    • Workrite desks

  • Customer will pay 10% cancellation fee of the original price paid for any cancellation or changes to orders of Humanscale products
Innovative
  • Standard items totaling value of $1000 or less will incur no restocking fee if they are returned in like-new, re-saleable condition in original packaging and received by the warehouse within 30 days from the date the item shipped. If received past 30 days, a restocking fee up to 25% will apply.    
  • Standard items totaling value of more than $1000 may be returned in like-new re-saleable condition within 30 days from the date the item shipped - a 25% restocking fee applies. 
Intellaspace
  • Product is new in original packaging
  • Product is returned within 30 days of receipt

Refunds and Credits

Refunds on returned items will be issued:

  • Once product has been received and inspected
  • In the same payment form as tendered at time of purchase
    • Please allow 5-7 days for a credit to appear in your account
    • For check payments, refund checks will be issued 10-14 business days after the original payment was received

Exchanges

ErgoDirect cannot issue a straight exchange. Please follow the return guidelines for the product you wish to return, then make a new order for the desired product.

Warranty Policy

Please note that detailed warranty information is available on individual product pages. 

All of our products have manufacturer's limited warranty. Manufacturers offer 30 days to lifetime limited warranties depending on the product. Please visit manufacturer websites or contact ErgoDirect at 1-888-456-3746 for more information on product warranties.

ErgoDirect is not liable if the manufacturer/distributor fails to perform warranty service.

ErgoDirect will not be responsible for any consequential or incidental damage resulting from the sale or use of any merchandise purchased from us. ErgoDirect's liability is limited to the monetary value of the merchandise.
