Keyboard Systems

Keyboard Systems consist of three components -

  • Keyboard Arms & Mounts - They attach a keyboard tray underneath the desktop and allow the user to pull out the keyboard tray into the neutral zone and offer height and tilt adjustability to the keyboard tray and the keyboard.
  • Keyboard Trays - The most suitable position for a keyboard tray is underneath the desktop and just an inch or so above the user's lap. The resulting typing position will ensure relaxed shoulders, elbows bent at 90-95 degrees and elbows close to the body.
  • Keyboards - An ergonomic keyboard forces the hand and wrist to stay in a neutral position, avoid carpal tunnel syndrome and help shoulder and neck pain too.

While you can have the flexibility and luxury of choosing each component of a keyboard system, you can also make enjoy the convenience of purchasing a preconfigured keyboard system which consists of a keyboard arm and a keyboard tray and sometimes a mouse platform. You can buy a keyboard separately.
