I don't understand about the clamp at the bottom. My surface is a long table 17" deep x36" long. Is the clamp extra?

Answer:

The clamp comes with the workstation and is used to mount the workstation to your desk. Your desk is 17" deep and this workstation requires 16.3" space for mounting so it should be fine.

What is the difference between track and track length in Options?

Answer:

Track refers to the various track lengths offered. Choose a track length based on the depth of your desk. The reason we also have "track length" as another option is to ensure that you have measured clear space under your desktop, front to back, and the track you ordered fits under your desk. Please note, that the word "clear space" is very important. So if you have a bar running across the length of your desk underneath, the full depth of your desk will not be counted as clear space. Please note that the standard recommended track length is 22", as it ensures that you can push the keyboard tray fully under the table top. Anything less than 22", you would have the tray and the keyboard tray sticking out.

Our Financial Director has this base with a 14"pole holding 2 large monitors side by side. The monitors are too low for his convenience. Can we adjust the height by exchanging the pole from 14" to 28" without the monitors toppling? The pole is around 1.5" in circumference. He would only have to elevate it another 6".

Why you would choose Saddle over Pony seat?

It is totally a matter of preference. The Pony style came out because people felt the saddle did not fit into areas where they needed a smaller seat or some people felt the saddle was a little too big. The main point is to choose the right seat height and select the right cylinder and footring to get you the desired seat height.

My desk work station is 22" deep. Here it states the Ergotron WorkFit-T needs 24" deep. Will this still work with my desk?

If your desk is only 22" deep than 2" of the platform will hang over your desk, note that this can also affect the sturdiness. Are you using single monitor or dual? WorkFit-S could work for you as well and you only need 17" deep desk:

If at any point you want to remove the arms you need to purchase a bracket. Part# BRKOM5-NB (for black frame) or BRKOM5-NG (for gray frame). It will be $30.00 per pair.

This model has two extensions. Could you tell me whether that is able to subtract extensions? I am not sure if I will need the model with no extension, the model with 1 extension or the model with 2 extensions. But I would rather get the model with 2 extensions if I can just remove one or two of the extensions when I figure out what I need.
